Thats not what Stirner talks about.
Stirner puts into perspective all preconceptions, beliefs and ideals, and through that it forces you to go beyond your own worldview, and to tackle your held beliefs for what they ultimately are. To be able to question yourself this way, to be able to separate yourself from your ideals and to reinterpret them and reconsider them, its an actual sign of maturity.
Stirner questions exactly the individual in relation to the other, and how that relation is molded. Trying to understand how joint culture, shared experiences and ethics gain value is exactly what Stirner tackles.

The reason I asked you to use your own words is that its very easy to take Stirner out of context which is what you have done here. In this quote the key word here is sacred. Under his understanding (which he demonstrates in his chapter "the possessed" sacredness is a trait that defined by it being distinct and alien to the individual. Which is something that can be equally applied to the sociopathic individualism of Rand.

I can agree that our ethical system might arise from more primitive systems, however this does not tell us that the system is wrong, or untrue.

An ethical system (simply put), is talking about certain kinds of beings, with certain characteristics, and from there can logically arrive at certain moral truths, given the nature of these creatures and what experience is like for them. Im having trouble finding the exact passage from my list of notes so treat this a provisional point. Also I currently lack the ability to brake down his arguments premise by premise but hope to be able to after getting through some secondary sources on that matter.

An argument he makes is that in seeking to free themselves from one set of alienating ideas people are quick to re-enslave themselves to new once hence becoming hypocritical.

An example he used was liberals replacing God, with the notion of man he then went onto discuss how egoists knock out man only to fix their current views in its place, not taking into account that views change.

I see this as being important given it knocks the wind out some of the more common ideas on egoism and most importantly has bigger consequences for how we might think about ourselves and motivations.

The bigger/ more formal arguments as you would see them are ones that I currently am having trouble putting into words. These are his ontological claims regarding what the self is.

Still I would hold out for a bit because there is an Austrian fellow here who has read a great deal about him and has access to those sources which havent been translated.

I think this might also be one of the reasons why Stirner is so well received here: he's not intellectual, and is rather idiosincratic, combining a variety of moods to different effects rather than trying to appeal purely to (academic) knowledge.

Stirner doesn't say you can't be good. You can be a "good person" at any time if that's your choice. What he says is to not get spooked by it.

When your morals get in conflict with each other, you can think about it and make a reasonable choice. Optimally, you have control over your actions.
But when you're at a point where you'd benefit from being not good, but you feel troubled by it for you "ought to be a good man", then the spook took a hold on you.

I'm not saying Stirnerian egoism can be realized. It requires a shitload of mindfulness and for one not be lazy.
But Stirner certainly doesn't say you can't come up with strategies that are expressed in terms of moral notions.
He warns you not to make your notebook a rule book.
