Nice LotR collection. Although get Return of the King in the same edition for a completion orgasm.

I do learn it, I just don't own much in Japanese. Since my area of study is Taisho/pre-war lit, it's all up online for free. I'm actually doing some translations of Yumeno Kyusaku's poetry for a thing in November, right now.
>>
>>7998489
I don't care for this at all... Otherwise, nice collection!

How much would you say your taste has been influenced by /lit/? I see you have a big concern for reading the canon as I think is quite common on here, but at the same time your jap lit section is obviously quite patrician.
>>
>>7998982
I don't know how much I would say /lit/'s recommendations have influenced me (as there are few anons here who read much that I don't already know and would want to know, and most of them left a long time ago), but being a part of /lit/ certainly influenced how my taste developed. For several years it was almost a race for obscurity, to find the weirdest works, the most niche publishers, the works that only two libraries in the USA had and that I had to interlibrary loan for $20+. I'd share them with /lit/ and some caught on. But eventually I realized I went too far, and not even /lit/ cared to talk about those things anymore, and I bounced back into general literature and have settled pretty comfortably into my "true" taste now.

Of the people of /lit/ who influenced me most, the trip Croaker is tops, since he's who (not intentionally) got me interested in Japanese lit. Though technically that was before I came to /lit/.

Lekkere collectie, pik.

Heb de Nederlandse literatuur de laatste tijd nogal links laten liggen. Is Nescio wat waard buiten Dichtertje/Titaantjes/De Uitvreter?

En ben je fan van Bernlef?
>>
>>7995777
Did you just graduate from high school?
>>
>>7999017

>>
>>7995777
Is that a katana?
>>
>>7999352
>>7999376

Het Bureau lijkt me gortdroog.
