I know you're baiting, but I'll respond seriously:

Yeah, no. I had ancient Greek for a couple of years in high school, and I have a feeling I'll never learn it well enough to appreciate the full depth of the classics. Reading a translation is a shortcut to works that would otherwise remain inaccessible to me for a lifetime.
