"Obscurantists". The word that you meant to use, OP, is "obscurantists", noun (plural): a person who makes intentionally confusing arguments couched in ten-dollar words and flowery academic language, not in order to make an intellectually honest point, but to play-act a lesser form of intelligence and show off vocabulary.
