What's wrong with reading books on an e-reader?

There's really none. It's just autistic people that say anything otherwise.

Nothing is really wrong with it, in fact it is cheaper and all-around more efficient and convenient (asides from when you are disconnected from electronics, say a camping trip or power outage).

I do prefer solid books because I want to continue to grow a large collection because it feels nice to actually hold and possess them.

Can't give them to other people unless they also read on e-readers. I only buy physical books in the vain hope that one day I'll be able to get somebody I know into reading. I gave my dad The Stars My Destination something like two months ago. I think it's gone.

This, I agree 100%. The library for me is worth the trip although I could just pirate everything on my reader. The idea of holding a book in your hand is quite nice for whatever reason

I have so many books already that I don't have anymore room. Ive got to get rid of some. I still buy regular books but for basic stuff I just use the kindle. Keeps my book clutter down.

Not a thing, unless you're pirating. I prefer paper books because I'm a pretentious loser building a library at home, but I use an e-reader at work because my backpack is already full of things I need for the job and adding a book would either add unnecessary weight or add the risk of it getting damaged. So they give us kindles for free and I always pay for what I read, usually twice since I add books I like to my actual shelf at home later.

I'm poor. So I have to. I really would love a nice bookshelf but that's for the future.

I enjoy the tactile and olfactory sensations inherent in paper books. It's just not the same experience reading from a Kindle.

Fundamentally nothing. Aesthetically everything.
