Looking for inspiration/writing suggestions

You might want to try reading (or watching) a few absurdist plays as their surrealism in an attempt to represent existential struggle is often disturbing and reminiscent of madness (circular conversations, imagery of reality starting to blur into the struggles of the perceivers mind).

I had a general idea, like a composition which takes the reader into the path from obsession to insanity, ending with suicide. A transformation probably starting from love obsession, jealousy and similar themes. This takes inspiration from McGrath's "Asylum" (1996). Keep in mind that I'm Italian, and that's the language I want to write with (also, sorry for bad english).
Anyway, I thought about ten steps: Eyes, Beauty, Love, Fear, Obesession, Isolation, Hate, Pleasure, Insanity, End. The reason I chose this order is too long to explain. There's a lot more to be explained, that's just a poor generalized idea. Is it interesting?

It's intended to be more like a personal pleasure. Surely not going to commercialize it.
I'm perfectly aware of it: writing is socially dead.
So, since we're not in the Roman Empire, and I'm not Catullo, I really think I'm going to keep these lines for a wiser and older me.
The reason I started the tread was to get some inspiration and reading advice. Thanks for the opinion, anyway
