Short Story/prose General:
Has anyone ever read a short story without a narrative, or where the narrative is unimportant?
I like the idea of writing a piece of prose that focuses on an aura of a place or a person. Maybe just a character piece.
But then I think to myself, 'hey, Wordsworth, why not write a poem in that case you fucking idiot?'
Anyone done a good job of that, Short prose is very difficult to write.
I have read stories like this, and I highly recommend Graham Greene's "The Invisible Japanese Gentlemen":

Franz Kafka's "11 sons"
