Well received.

are you afraid people wont like you if you enjoy it without the /lit/ seal of approval?

one of the few books that /lit/ seems to unanimously like.
Very good. Like if Tarantino wrote literature.

>Like if Tarantino wrote literature
into the trash it goes
Black author conspiracy?
Should we be worried?

It's like Tarantino without the periodical awkwardness that comes from trying too hard. The dialogue is tight, the violence is horrific, but not in a stylised way. It's a gritty story that you can tell the author feels very passionate towards.

Damn. Backlash when?

Only about the publishing industry's lack of originality. I suppose it's a decent enough cover concept, though.

Germans are in on it, too
I don't think /lit/ has even read 700 pages of a book that came out in 2014.
I read it, I thought it wasn't the best book but it was so fun I didn't care. If anyone asked me if they should read it I'd give the go ahead

That's probably the most off-putting description you can give a book other than directly saying it's shit.
everyone I know hates it. seems shitty
