I'm thinking of getting this shirt
With band t-shirts you at least directly support the band even though you look like a tryhard, book t-shirts are infinitely worse

>wearing graphic tees
>liking Murakami
Real talk, though, OP. You shouldn't be wearing tees if you're an adult. If that's your style, though, at least wear a plain, solid-colored tee. Logos and graphics are trashy.

Look at me everybody I have read a book.
Yeah, I see my mistake now. I was just finishing the book and something came over me that made me feel like getting a shirt. Normally I just wear a white t-shirt.
Thank you /lit/ for helping me see the error of my ways. Peace.
I once saw a shirt in a store window with a paragraph of text on it (uncredited). I didn't recognise it at the time, but earlier this year, I found it was the opening of chapter 1 from a book I'd started reading:
>Does such a thing as “the fatal flaw,” that showy dark crack running down the middle of a life, exist outside literature? I used to think it didn’t. Now I think it does. And I think that mine is this: a morbid longing for the picturesque at all costs. It was The Secret History.

My parents send me fucking awful T-shirts as gifts that say shit like 'Careful... or I'll put you in my novel'
I don't want to throw them away because I'm poor as fuck but I end up wearing jackets over the top of them 24/7 because I don't want to look like an autismus maximus, but then the heat makes me sweat and I become paranoid about body odor and that makes me even more neurotic and sweaty
