Seriously though, Byron is bad. And his poetry would be outdated if written now. Unless I'm misunderstanding what happened, anons were right to critique it. Byron (who wasn't very good) was a product of his time. It's entirely reasonable to critique him as they did when operating under the assumption that the poem in question was written by some faglord last week.
