Anyone got the list of writers who were published really young? It was a pasta for a while but I haven't seen it recently. Dumping some Pynchon letters in the meantime.
Is this to Farina? Before or after he killed JFK?
yeah so no one's got that pasta it's chill but does no one give a shit about these letters???

are these different from the one's you posted before? About Pynchon's disappointment with V. I just assumed they were the same ones, which I still really appreciate.

nah actually that isn't even me, i saved these a while back though from when that dude from i think it was university of kentucky posted them. i just wanted to share em again for anyone who may not have seen them and as a reason to potentially get people to post that pasta. dont even need it anymore the pasta.
Comforting to know that even great writers get self-conscious sometimes. Pynchon's criticism of himself is spot on in some respects.

Name a writer that hasn't been self-conscious. What a strange thing to find comfort in.

not him but i think to actually see that self-consciousness, to not just imagine it but to know it, to see it in a concrete fashion, that is what's comforting about it. at least to me.

It can be comforting, when the titans of literature seem so inaccessible in terms of their ability and thought process. Makes them seem more like you or me.
