Evening /lit/
I've recently purchased this book which is based around civil war in around the 1700-1800 and discusses Marxism, bourgeois societies and what not. Was just wondering if any readers have tips on thoroughly understanding this book and what I should research prior to venturing onto learning about Thomas Hobbes philosophy.
Read some historical background and the political forces that were active at his area in his times.
Some introduction history book for early modern would be also helpful to find themes
