I work a job that requires me being at an office for 12 hours a day, so audio books are really the only way I can scratch my literary itch. I just watch them and 1.5 speed on youtube because I find them a bit slow otherwise.

It's an engineering job in Alaska. It's not so bad actually. I get paid really well and I work 4 weeks straight then get 4 weeks off.

I work from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m as an auditor for a “big Four”, with more or less an hour of commuting. I have almost no free time except the train where I read every morning and evening. I manage to read a book each week, in addition to learning French and German via Anki, work and a couple of lessons before going to bed. Commuting is a holy gift for readers. I still go to work by train although I'm entitled to a quite expensive corporate vehicule.
