I am not an intellectual. I don't care about most of what's discussed on /lit/.

Reading fiction is at this point more like listening to an author whine about how reality isn't fair and either thinking he's nuts or cringing or both.

To gain understanding of the human condition through fiction is to learn existential despair. Not that that's the only way.
