Are you going to meet your reading goals this year /lit/?
I suppose I read less than most people here. I try to keep my own pace.
2013 was a sick year for you, huh?
Do you all have full time jobs? I've read ~80 books this year, and I'm sure it comes down to having a part-time job now instead of a full 40 hour work week.
Started working this year and that really screwed up my times
I'm ten books over my challenge because I had no idea how many I read in a year, never really cared or counted, so I low balled it with a target of 30 on goodreads. Next year I'll do 50 or sixty because I'll have more free time and it's still a reasonable goal/will push me.
The numbers are a bit inflated, both on the read and goal side to compensate. I haven't yet read every book I planned on reading for this year.
I'm at like 160 out of a rate of 200. I'm travelling this year, so I have tons of down time just for reading. I'm hoping to read a bunch of PKD and maybe some comfy detective novels to round off a year of pretty serious lit.
