Both, thinking about it. I seem to remember the narrator putting on a bad Yorkshire accent whenever a housekeeper or peasant spoke.
As for other recommendations, the most relatable would be the George Guidall narration of C&P, which I thought was very good (the other sounds not nearly as well done); as for others? Harlot's Ghost is long-winded but worthwhile, and Martin Amis' London Fields was a joy to listen to.
