It's fun. Read it anon
This obsession with "learning before reading" is becoming ridiculous. Everyone should read three books on Greek history, Homer, Herodotus, Aeschylus, Sophocles, Aristophanes, Hesiod, Euripides, Sappho, Anacreont and Martial before they are allowed to play Age of Mythology.
No, just read it, for fuck's sake.

I shouldn't have used the work learn huh?
I didn't mean it in a scholastic sense. I ment it more as to better enjoy.
As an example as to what I ment. I recently read Goethe's the sorrows of Young werther and really enjoyed comparing that character to Dimitri from the brothers karamazov, so if someone were to ask about either of those two books, I would be inclined to suggest reading one after the other or in parallel.

Read the bandits by Schiller. More parallels between that and brothers k
