Has anyone here outside USA/Europe ordered from Thriftbooks, and did it arrive within the estimated time? I'd like to hear especially from latin americans, such as myself.
Also, if the book happens to not arrive, does Thriftbooks offer refund/send another copy like AbeBooks?
Pls respond.

Why not order from bookdepository with free shipping?

It depends on what you want to buy, I think: Against the Day paperback in bookdepository costs more than 20 euros, but I ordered hardcovers editions of Mason & Dixon and Against the Day from thriftbooks for 17 euros, included shipping (they haven't arrived yet, it's my first order actually). If you want a couple of items I think it's worth it, even if you're not living in the US; if you want a bigger order or generally cheaper books, the wait + shipping cost + 2nd hand books isn't wort it. I think I'll stick with bookdepository for most purchases, and use thriftbooks for sales like this.
