That I should have packed a sack lunch and a bottle of water or two. Also both paths end at the same cemetery plot, so who gives a fuck.

I tried to do this until I realize that there is not point in taking note of which "path" you are actually on. Less traveled or no, just do and hope that the insignificance of everything and everyone doesn't get to you too much.

I mean, yeah you're right...but the FLAVOR. Think of the flavor. Its not the same thing to just chow down on ice cream and salads all at once.

A few years ago onward to town 10 minutes from home there was a dirt road, but it took longer than the paved road in retrospect, and the transportation was dirtied by the end. So I never took the road less traveled again.

Nah, I'm not that disaffected, but the older I get, the more I realize that people, including myself, expend a tremendous amount of mental energy on the specifics of things that are altogether meaningless in the long run. Sometimes it just seems so trivial.
