There's a lot more to talk about. Being trans is generally a much bigger part of people's lives than being gay/bi, it really becomes the biggest thing going on in your life. What's more, transitioning is an active process, people aren't sure if they're trans, what to do if they are, they need advice on passing, HRT, clothing, how to deal with life/friends/family and all that jazz. It's very involved and there's a lot people don't know what to do about.

That and trans people are way more likely to be introverted shut-ins who's only outlet for interacting with people is the internet.

Bear in mind that gays and lesbians are about 5-6% of the general populace, bi people are about 23% of the general populace, and other is about 0.001% of the general populace. Transgendered people are about 0.0003% of the general populace.

Carry that out to it's logical conclusion, and of the 150 threads up at any given time, the majority should be bisexual in focus, there should be a strong presence of gay and lesbian threads though a minority, and only 1 or 2 threads for each of the other groups.

The majority of the threads on /lgbt/ are trans threads. Seriously, I counted. And that's not including general question threads or threads that address multiple groups (femboy thread I left out of the count, even though it acknowledges it is in many ways a thinly veiled trans thread, because it isn't exclusively trans.) I just counted exclusively trans threads.

So first of all, a lot of you be lyin'. I understand the internet is a wonderful place that allows very small groups to come together and meet from around the globe, but the number of "trans" people here at any given time is just thoroughly unrealistic given what the number should be and what the number is. Either /lgbt/ is an extreme statistical outlier, to the point of it being laughable how crazy far out it is, or (far more likely, given the content of a lot of the trans threads), there's a lot of people who are deluding themselves into thinking they're trans because they fantasized that one time about what it would be like to have a vagina, and that of course means they're trans.

Secondly, that's way too many posts. Especially since most of them are the same damn thing: "uwu, why can't i be a cute anime grill, i just want a strong bf to nibble on my cute conetits uwu" or "do i pass? r8 my pics that i'm not supposed to post here because i'm an attention whore!"
