This is story 3 of a wip six-part fixup novel. Morr (she rolls the R and Tin can't pronounce it so he says "Morla") appears in another story, I started with her as a one-off character but she grew on me.

I have 3/5 of the other stories in progress, the origin (1/6) and the one that explains Tin's fear of caves (2/6) are almost finished, the 5th is in progress and I have a solid idea for the 6th. I'm also illustrating it because I have too much time on my hands (concept for characters+cover+maybe 3-6 pics per story).

Right now the plan is to self-publish on Amazon mostly just to claim ownership and then see about how risky it is to just let channers have PDFs for free since I don't see myself making a living from this anyway.

My pen name is the intentionally eye-roll-inducing Katrina van Dame (no trans-o), so that's what it'll be published under.

What did you think about the *ahem* tongue-in-cheek homage to Robert E Howard (the Slavers)? Too much?
