How would you feel if you paid $60k and still looked like a hon? edition (pic related)
>>
if i could get those results, id be pretty happy

then again im destined to be an ultra hon, so idk
>>
>>8807227
she looks pretty good.
$60k is a lot of money though.
>>
Is that Felicia Day?
>>
>>8807227
Doesn't look like a hon at all, especially if she gained weight. Looks kinda German/Northern European to me for some reason.
>>
>>8807227
The day I spend money on my appearance is the day I can buy a character creator for myself.

She looks great!

Wish my chin reduction turned out that well...
>>
She looks great, actually. These results are amazing. Especially when compared to how she was before. She's actually really pretty now.
>>
>>8807227

i feel bad for you senpai.

she looks great.

German/North europeans have a specific phenotype of big head and jawline even happening for women. its scary

>FFS thread

Does anyone know if you need your overbite/jaw recession corrected before FFS or do they do that for you/as part of the operation?

Have a profile like this want something I'll post a pic of and I'm not sure like if order of surgeries matters or what

So, spiegel vs chettawut?

Desired:

Honestly I figure getting an aesthetic chin/jaw is easier than passing, I've wanted FFS + my overbite correct anyways
>>
>>8807533
I don't think they will do that during ffs
>>
>>8807227
Her hair transplants took to very well.
Had 1800 grafts to cover my scar and it was a disaster
>>
>>8807227
judging by her facial expressions, money can buy you happiness
>>
>>8807540
So you think overbite needs to be corrected before ffs then? What I'm really worried about is the possibility that I'd need them in a certain order and if I mess it up I'll get deformed

Jaw surgery then FFS should be good right?
>>
I'd fuck them for sure, I think they're really pretty. If I didn't want kids when I'm older I'd wife her.
(I'm a bi male for reference)
>>
is ffs really 60k??? on top 30 to fix other shit with my body?
OMG WTF IM GONNA KMS

how do i get money pls help someone im so sad :(
>>
>>8807551
That seems good to me I think. Unfortunately I can kind of think of good reasons for either order so I don't know
>>
>>8807568
>Unfortunately I can kind of think of good reasons for either order so I don't know
Tell me anyways? Idk maybe I'm being obsessive

I just want to fix my face and end up with no deformities/ugliness because of bad operation/serious side effects like bad nerve damage

Main concern is looking worse than I do now though because of conflicting operations or something
>>
>>8807227
>>8807568
>60k
:( I-Is it really that expensive
I-I don't know if I'll be able to afford that before I'm old and grey...
>>
>>8807573
Basically whoever goes second has an idea of what they're working with and so can produce the best result according to the prior features. Possibly since ffs is also concerned with a esthetics it might be better to do that second.

I'd ask the ffs surgeon during a consult
>>
>>8807227
kek mtfs have no idea what normal women look like. She looks kinda homely but definitely cis in the last one. Lay off the anime and porn.
>>
>>8807555
FFS price varies much more than SRS, because it's more like a bunch of smaller surgeries bundled together. It depends on your individual face. It can go from under 10k to 30k. I've never heard anyone say 60k, though.
yeah, it sucks. Trying to get a passable body can be really dang expensive

being trans isn't cheap
>>
Is there any lasting side effects from ffs like nerve damage?
>>
>>8807585
>since ffs is also concerned with a esthetics
This is actually very useful anon I've been wondering who I should see for my jaw, like, unsure if I would go to a dentist, orthodonist, plastic surgeon or "aesthician" to get the best results

Going with FFS once my jaw is anatomically correct seems like a good idea, putting structure before appearance I guess
>>
>>8807227

LMAO, you're blind, son. She has the face Hollywood loves in its actresses.

Tell me who her surgeon was.

30k if you need pretty much all of your face changed

As for money, either go into a good trade if you've got the work ethic or go into legal/medical/engineering field if you've got the brains.

You can also look around you and see what kind of insurance companies have. Look for an insurance you want, one that's covered things like SRS with a good doctor before, and see if you can get there. Management can also make good money.

Hey question to everyone reading.

If you saw someone who had the face of the middle picture with long hair and no make up with a man body how would you react?

idk what either of those amount to, i'm a neet depressed loser with an intense desire to stop being a piece of shit and be happy and i need paper for it

what trades are good rn? :( i live under a rock
>>
>>8807674

"That woman sure is unfortunate to have a straight-up man's body. Nature fucked her."
>>
>>8807707
Dunno for facial team specifically. It really does just depend what all you need though, and they'd be able to tell you that.

>>8807709
They amount to a lot of work ethic to try and get your degree, but they're generally in pretty high demand, and pay very well. Starting salary of a mechanical engineer with a masters can be like 60, 70k. That's starting salary.

It's hard schooling. You're gonna spend a lot of long nights struggling to understand the subject matter, and at times it might just feel like you're skating on luck alone, but once you get it it's amazing.

As for trades, honestly just look it up for your area.

Also, if you do get a good education/trade, don't be afraid if it means you have to move.

Oh, and since you're 20, you probably won't need as much work as you're afraid you'll need.
>>
>>8807743
>it might just feel like you're skating on luck alone, but once you get it it's amazing.
it sounds like youve done this before anon

ummm im pretty sure there's no opportunity for me here, deep south USA, i need to leave here to have a chance :\ cant get off my feet though
>Also, if you do get a good education/trade, don't be afraid if it means you have to move.
uuummm i have a good enough diploma from having to drop out of hs in my last year

>Oh, and since you're 20, you probably won't need as much work as you're afraid you'll need.
how so? i feel really ugly and i need my chin fixed before ffs apparently

lol im fucked arent i :( no one should have to pay out the ass to look and be how they shouldve been at birth ugh
>>
>>8807546

That made me laugh, anon.

>>8807551

Ask an FFS surgeon who is also a craniofacial surgeon. I think Deschamps-Braly is one.

>>8807555
>>8807584

Take your pick:
>Start a business
>Go to college in a lucrative major and keep a high GPA
>Marry a rich person
>Win the lottery
>Inherit
>Cheat and swindle
>Pick up a nice trade (an electrician cousin of mine apparently makes more than $100k/year working as an electrician in NYC), her husband's the same. Her house outside the city is worth $1M

>>8807589

It seems like $60k is really common for Deschamps-Braly and Spiegel.

>>8807591

If your surgeon fucks your shit up, yes. Don't cheap out on your face, senpai. Check this to see what happens when you cheap out on FFS.

>>8807743

>It's hard schooling. You're gonna spend a lot of long nights struggling to understand the subject matter, and at times it might just feel like you're skating on luck alone, but once you get it it's amazing.

Have you done it before? I'm honestly concerned because though my maternal grandfather is a CPA, my maternal uncle graduated magna cum laude in whatever his study was, most of my paternal aunts are also CPAs, and another paternal aunt is a doctor in pharmacy, my parents didn't finish college at all. Apparently, my mom dropped out because of calculus. No one in my family to help me understand a damn thing because everyone I mentioned with a degree lives outside of the country.
>>
>>8807707
I did a consultation last month

All procedures are about 10k American each, hair transplants with forehead reconstruction is about 18k euro or about 22k American ish.
>>8807714
So I won't be perfectly androgynous because I did a before and after virtual FFS by the women if that website and affliated with the FacialTeam and I'm basically the equivalent.

>>
>>8807769
>it sounds like youve done this before anon
Because it is.
>pretty sure there's no opportunity for me here, deep south USA
there's always trades. Welders, electricians, truckers, whatever. These people keep the country around- there are always trades.

But you still might want to leave, because transitioning will probably be hell

>how so? i feel really ugly
If we're being honest you aren't qualified to judge that. A person is generally awful at judging themselves, especially when they have gender dysphoria.

>I need my chin fixed before ffs apparently
What do you mean?

>>8807808
I've done it before yeah. The biggest thing I can suggest is to go get tutoring.

I can tell you straight up, when I compare the people who dropped to the people who finished, the difference is pretty much always who was and wasn't willing to go get tutoring.

It's not easy. It's not meant to be. Don't make the mistake of thinking that getting help with things you don't understand makes you unqualified or worse or whatever.
>>
>>8807808
>Start a business
not creative in terms of that but i wanna make art lol..
>Go to college in a lucrative major and keep a high GPA

>>

A-anon anything in thousands of dollars is a lot to me
H-how much is cheap?
I assume under 60k
>>
>>8807840
> how hard is to turn into one that makes that much money
not that hard honestly.

Trades can end up with you making bank. There's a lot of demand and a very low supply, because people think that they're too good for trades.
>>
>>8807833
>there's always trades. Welders, electricians, truckers, whatever
doesn't all of that require like, idk. more than a GED?
>If we're being honest you aren't qualified to judge that.
idk anon i have a long face, recessed jaw, premature wrinkles, receding hairline, etc, im a troll
>What do you mean?
well apparently it's a good idea to fix your overbite before getting FFS
>>
>>8807840

>>
>>8807854

>>
>>8807707
maybe if you start off with a good face.

i need the works so FT is going to cost me 40k USD

32k EUR
>>
>>8807811

>All procedures are about 10k American each, hair transplants with forehead reconstruction is about 18k euro or about 22k American ish.

Wait, so rhinoplasty + forehead + jaw + chin + trachea + lip lift = $60k? Doesn't sound right since a lip lift is an outpatient procedure on its own.

>>8807832

As part of a consultation, usually the answer will be yes. I don't know if they will answer that question outside of a consultation.

>>8807833

>the difference is pretty much always who was and wasn't willing to go get tutoring.

That makes sense. My mother told me my grandfather struggled with the calculus too, but that he paid a tutor.

>Don't make the mistake of thinking that getting help with things you don't understand makes you unqualified or worse or whatever

I've had that problem, anon. Thanks for the advice.

>>8807847

I don't know what the low-end is. I'm going to assume anything under $20k to get your WHOLE face done is a mistake. The floor might actually be higher. Like maybe $30k is the minimum you should expect to pay for a good job if you need everything done. I just don't know.

>>8807840

>how hard is to turn into one that makes that much money

I have no clue. She told me that she graduated from a vocational high school, and she focused on being an electrician while she was there. She's in her 40s now, so I don't know what she started being paid.
>>
>>8807905
>>8807865

Yeah, unfortunately, everything takes years. I graduated from high school with 60 credits in a liberal arts degree (because that was the high school's one offer) in 2013 with no college plans. After finally pulling myself out of my suicidal ideation in 2015, I entered community college to study computer engineering. I got a 3.5 GPA (3.75 according to the way the CC weighs things) for the first semester. The second semester, I got depressed again for various reasons, and my cumulative GPA is now maybe below 2.0. I did not go back after that. I'm now 22. If I had gone to college the fall after I graduated high school and stayed focused, this would be the year I would start earning money for surgeries. If I had at least kept my shit together since I entered community college, I would be two years from starting to earn money for my surgeries. Now my wait may be 5 years. That's bad. I might be 27 before I finally start earning money for anything.

It's better to just start now instead of whining it will take years. You'll have to spend the years earning your accreditation anyway, you may as well get started as soon as possible.
>>
>>8807905
Shit. It'd be really nice if I could find that out without spending money beforehand.

>It's better to just start now instead of whining it will take years

like i can't see myself doing anything even in 10 years starting out as i am at walmart or some awful shit.

I said around so some procedures like hair transplants are 8k, but I can't recollect anything be less than 6k American.

They just told me I needed my forehead done, that no surgeon should ever touch my nose and that my jaw was "30% about feminising and 70% for beauty".

But both the surgeon and the American coordinator said most procedures are around 10k some more or less but about the same.

FFS is not 60k that's a 4chan meme.

Paul Gerarchi in Australia will do it for 32k AUD which is only 24k USD
>>
>>8813742

But is his work worth it?
>>
>>8807908

I think consultations are only like $100 anyway. $400 at most, probably. Just do it and he'll know which order you should get the surgeries done in and he'll also tell you which parts of your face you need worked on as far as FFS with a quote of how much he would charge. Dr. DB works on kids with deformities too, so he's probably one of the most qualified facial feminization surgeons you can possibly ask.

>>8807917

You misunderstood. I have never had a job and I'm a college dropout. I still have my high school diploma and associate's in liberal arts, but I have no significant amount of money saved up for surgery.

I fell right back into the pit of despair during my second semester even though my first was successful.

>>8807923

That your jaw in particular was the kind that mostly only needed beautification, or that that's the case for most?

>>8807929

Isn't that jaw surgery you need more to do with the TMJ? None of those procedures have anything to do with that. The rhinoplasty is just the nose, forehead gets rid of brow and brings the hairline forward if you need that, the jaw just cuts away the masculine edges of the jaw into a feminine contour, same as the jaw for the chin but they're counted separately for some reason, trachea is just reducing the Adam's apple, and lip lift is for enhancing the shape of the upper lip and appearing to shorten the lip-to-nose distance.
>>
>>8813816
Honestly, he does probably the best nose and brow (type 1, at least) work of any FFS surgeon.

Chin work is decent, but not fantastic.

That said, my chin ended up slightly off center and the mentalis muscle drooped a bit. When I went back to see him he saw it immediately and offered to fix it for free. Haven't taken him up on the offer yet, still thinking about my options.

Here's a link to his site anyway:

https://www.thefaceinstitute.com.au/photogallery/rhinoplasty-surgery-photos/
>>
>>8815818
he doesn't do type 3? his site doesn't even include ffs as a category
>>
>>8815980
He isn't allowed to release photos of all his surgeries, but he can show you some in the clinic.

He's a maxillofacial surgeon first and foremost, most of his work was on cis people that wanted to look better.

For most procedures he can only show you cis patients that got one or two things done, like a patient who got standalone brow work or a patient that got a nose and chin combo.

Still, all in all, he does a good job.

I don't know if he does type 3, I was only interested in seeing results for type 1 since that's all I needed. Suppose you can always just email his office and ask if he does.
>>
>>8816106
>>8815980

I'll also add that you can see my FFS pictures in clinic, but I didn't give permission for web release.
>>
>>8816106
>He isn't allowed to release photos of all his surgeries, but he can show you some in the clinic.
"You only get to see them when it's too late to cop out."
>>
>>8816118
It's a consult. He shows you everything before you book.

You can opt out whenever you like.
It's not like Bart or Speigel where they get you to sign up, up front.
>>
>>8816131
Oh phew, that's a different matter. It sounded very red flaggy like those two.
>>
>>8807227
where do you even find these? Is there a resource?
>>
>>8816138
Look at it this way.

If you live in Australia/NZ or don't mind paying a few hundred for plane tickets then he's definitely worth a look.

Pros:
-Great at noses
-Great at brows (type 1 at least)
-Cheap
-Short wait time
-Friendly

Cons:
-Chin work is decent but not the best.
-If you're overseas you need a plane ticket to get a consult.
>>
>>8816159
What are the different types of brow work?
>>
>>8816164
Type 1 is minor shaving of the brow ridge itself. Usually because the sinus is further back or because the ridge is mostly bone.

Type 1 is what I had.

As for other two, I think they're as follows;
Type 2 is shaving down to the sinus and then use of surgical cement, to cover over it.
Type 3 is shaving and then rotation the forehead itself backward.
>>
>>8816141
I saw it on 4chan tbqhon
Go on reddit though, plenty of examples
>>
>>8816131
>>8816138

Spiegel and Bart won't show you before and afters unless you paid the deposit?
>>
>>8816106
if you don't know if he does type 3, why recommend him as a main option? that's kind of a staple for FFS and just because you were lucky enough not to need it doens't change that
>>
>>8816390
Okay, I see what you mean and I probably wasn't very clear.

typically if you're having a consult with Spiegel or Bart then you've already paid quite a bit of money and they kind of think that you're locked in. What I mean with Gerarchi is that if you're having a consult with him then you're still in his opinion shopping around so that's when he tries to convince you.

Bart will charge you $100 for a projected photo of your face then expects that the next time he sees you you've paid the full 50k and are about to have surgery with him.

>>8816399
Because some people don't need type 2 or 3. Just like some people don't need jaw work or nose work. All I needed was type 1, and I dare say I'm not the only person that browses this board who only needed/needs that either.

Lets be imaginative right now and assume there is a type 4 that on average will cost you and extra 2k and is riskier and will look worse on you than a type 3. Would you pay the extra money to go see the doctor that does the type 4 or would you go see the cheaper one that does the surgery you actually want/need?

You pick the surgeon who is right for you, I'm just giving options. Anyway, he may well do type 2 or 3 I just didn't ask because I didn't need or want either of those.
