I think that's a mis-characterization of my point of view. It's not that anything I don't like is a narrative, it's that I think there are simply some outdated ideas on who is and isn't trans which end up hurting people who don't transition because they don't fit some idea of being truetrans.

For instance, let's say anon has answered no to my question of if they would like to be a girl even if nobody was watching them, then my response would be different. They'd probably not be trans then.
