I seriously want to know. It just seems weird that kids adopted to same-sex couples all seem to grow up and come out as gay themselves. Also, I know a large number of gay couples, and a significant number of them talk about how their dogs/cats/fish are gay as well.

This is an interesting topic and there were actually some studies conducted to see if there is an increase in adopted children of gay couples becoming gay. The original intent was to see if a social factor was a primary determinant of sexuality. It found that there was no noticeable increase of the children being homosexual/queer but it did find that they were more comfortable coming out if they were gay (which makes sense). Honestly I have heard those fucked stories about parents (not just homosexual or queer ones) that pressure their children into being trans at very young ages which is horrible. And on the dog thing idfk that's just some bs. There is a good amount of homosexual tendencies among other species. Monkeys are a good example where in some types they use oral or other forms of gay sex to ease tension in the group and promote bonding. But claiming your dog is gay is kinda stupid they're probably just horny.

From what I've seen, even if they don't pass trannies tend to be (relatively) happier transitioned than not.
Plus the ones that don't do it early usually either kill themselves without ever telling anyone, or transition when they're much older, having lived as a man for decades, even getting married and having offspring.

A good perspective to on transition is that it's like a combination of maggot treatment and chemotherapy, a thoroughly disgusting process that destroys certain functions of the patient's body and mind, but helps them deal with an overall bigger problem.
