I was just about to say this. As loathe as I am to not use this opportunity to turn selection-biased polls against you that's absolutely correct. Just posting this in /mtfg/ probably skewed the result by making a bunch of anti-Blanchard posters vote Yes. I'm willing to bet that once some Blanchard fanatics find this thread they'll also vote No.

This is a person who conducted a survey so amazing that it showed 50% of random respondents having AGP and sees nothing wrong with it.
This is a person who believes most people transition due to fetish and sexual perversions.

I do believe that they can be gender dysphoric. I just don't think it's reasonable to use the word "trans" about non-transitioners. It's a question of definitions, really.

This is not all that unreasonable, though. Small amounts of AGP doesn't have that big of an effect. (See pic.)

It's especially not unreasonable when you consider that others have found that many boys would choose to be female if they were allowed to.

By the way, the next survey I'm going to make is likely going to contain an attempt at measuring ETLI using a subtler method. I'm basically going to ask people what kinds of things they find sexually attractive in others (e.g. red hair), ask them what sorts of features they'd ideally have, and then examine how close the correspondence for these two is.

Do you have any predictions on the outcomes for this? E.g. how will trans people compare to cis people on this measure?

Things I find attractive in women--
Feminine faces, regal eyes, long natural girly smelling hair or short stylish hair, muscles, gothy makeup, eager fetishy sexuality, confidence, slender figure.

Things I'd find ideal in myself--
Average female height, androgynous feminine face that looks good with short hair, lithe /fit/ body with ideal female proportions/curviness, classy style

I think that, since trans people aren't neurotypical, more of them are likely to have weird variant sexualities. There are probably more trans autosexuals per trans person than there are cis autosexuals per cis person. This increase aside I think the rate will roughly reflect the rate at which cis homosexuals are attracted to the traits they would also like to have.

With that said, as ever, I don't think the data you're collecting is accurate because it is heavily skewed by selection bias.

A survey I made earlier has already suggested that trans women don't perceive themselves to desire to have the kinds of traits that they find attractive. However, my suspicion is that there's some degree of social desirability bias in this, which is why I want to separate the two parts (what you find attractive vs how you want to be).
