AAP has never been proven to be a thing. FtM transsexualism isn't a mirror of MtF transsexualism. Females with rapid onset gender dysphoria usually develop it because normal adolescent female insecurity with their body, which becomes linked with their sex and leads to the (usually adolescent female) believing their insecurities will be fixed by transitioning.
