For reference, my shoulders are so narrow that a lot of jackets and coats sold for *women* are slightly ill-fitting on me, even from the petite section, so getting them up to male inverted triangle levels would be difficult even if I bulk the fuck out. I'd recommend the gc2b then, especially if you're small and double especially if you've got dark skin, as they make nude colored binders for an array of races.

The big problem with gc2b is because they made it so breathable, it only does really well for smaller folks. None of that rib bruising action from underworks, so it's much better for physical activity, but it's a trade-off between comfort and flatness.

How do you date as a trans person? I've been full time for 3+ years, I pass pretty flawlessly, and I have friends. I'd really like a girlfriend, but it seems so daunting. I got my first injection at the office, which is when they showed me how to do it. Definitely ask them for assistance if you've never done it. It can depend on what you get where you inject, so that shit might vary.

I just do a lot of deep breathing and kind of inject myself slow. Most people seem to recommend doing it fast and getting it over with, but I'm not wholly comfortable with jabbing myself at speed. I tend not to look at it, helps for some reason.

They definitely need to show you have to do it. You CAN find tutorial vids on YouTube (and I do recommend watching a bunch, especially to refresh your memory the first couple of times from what the doctor shows you), but yeah. You should have a professional teach you how.

Tips for basically painless injections:

- Swab your leg (I'll assume here they'll teach you to do it in your thigh, it's easiest for self-done shots) enough in advance of the shot that it has time to completely dry so you don't get any alcohol stinging
- Switch between draw needles and injection needles! I think it's kinda crazy not to do that, you blunt the needle when you put it in the bottle, so just going straight to the injection means putting a blunt needle in your leg. My current syringes come with draw needles attached, but I have drawn with 20G before and inject with 25G.
- Don't hesitate. You don't need to jam it in (you'll be surprised at how easily a sharp needle goes into your leg), but don't dither with the point barely pressing into your skin. That doesn't actually hurt that much, but you'll psych yourself out and then it will hurt more. Just a psychological thing.
- They will probably teach you something like "hold the skin taunt." I found that not to work AT ALL, especially on my right leg - for some reason, I have huge trouble on that side and go through a vein or whatever at least once every third shot on that side, really frustrating. Someone told me to basically "gather" the muscle on that side in my hand and pull it away from my leg and bit and then inject into that (if that description makes sense). Maybe you're not supposed to do that, but I have found this makes shots 1000% easier and less painful overall.

I've seen some people recommend icing your leg before, but I think that's overkill and your leg should probably get back to it's normal temp anyway by the time you swab and load the needle and shit. But whatever, you could try it if you have trouble.

I never really had any. I lived in a fairly small town and was bullied when I was younger for being a bit of a tomboy and I just never met anyone when I went to uni (probably because I don't know how I to socialize because I've never actually had a friend before) and I've dropped out so I don't really have anyone to fall back on.

My family is very big into traditional values, so I was always getting into trouble with them, my mother probably had a screaming fit at me every other day for the first 15 years of my life.

Most people were like this in my class of 30 people in my graduating class, the teachers especially. It was pretty obvious nobody liked me much, and I never really talked to anyone because they always avoided me. I can't really think of any specific incidents involving direct peers, but a lot involving adults, and nobody wants to be friends with a troublemaker, and it's worse when your in a small town.

Well, I've heard that the New York Toy Collective silicon packers (like the Pierre) aren't too bad. They might pick up a bit of fluff in the beginning, but as they get worn, it gets better. Should be much better the standard TPE packer (like Mr Limpy), those get super sticky and secrete oil.
