My mom is southern baptist too. she was opposed to me being lesbian for a long time but after I had a bad break up and she saw how sad I was she told me she knew I'd find the right girl someday. That's the only time she's ever acknowledged my sexuality, but it was enough. I know she supports me now even if she doesn't say it.
