It is very sad indeed, but don't let it make you pity yourself, fate is a bitch, right, but you are litterally the only one who can make yourself have a better life, and pitying yourself will make you think that since you aren't responsible for this, you don't have to make it better, since fate has a debt towards you, and you will loose all will to struggle for a better life. It's a vicous circle I've been in and it's very common, especially amongst trans people not yet in transition.
