Transition doesn't work. Even those that pass, and transition early are always left unhappy, and not cured of dysphoria.

Bear in mind that a lot of people pass to people outside their race more easily than others in it.

I've heard a lot of black trans women pass well to white people but not to black people, e.g. when Laverne Cox got famous off OitNB, all my white Facebook friends thought she passed well but black people said they could easily clock her.

Or for Asians, Asians do on average have more feminine facial features, but part of the reason people think they pass so well is because white people are not all great at telling East Asians apart. Several crossdressing/trans Asians with a reputation for being very girly come up in conversation with Asian friends and a lot of them don't think they pass at all. Pic related, a bunch of Western media outlets ran articles on this Chinese "boy"band whose gimmick was that the members were actually attractive, androgynous girls. I (and a lot of my white friends) thought they passed really well, Asian friends said they didn't pass at all. I live in a majority-white country and know a Taiwanese FTM. He's super short (like, under 5'0") but consistently gets read as a boy here because people here don't think it's that weird for an Asian guys are small and girly, whereas back home he doesn't pass for shit because yeah, the Asian average is shorter but it's not THAT short.
