A similar thing happened to me in real life when I said "Life is also hard for straight men,it isn't the paradise you think it is," this asexual girl and gay dude turned against me. They haven't spoken to me since.
I wish I had a solution to you but everyday I see that the radicalized are perhaps the majority when it comes to LGBT youth nowadays. And they basically can't be argued with, they don't accept disagreement, they only drink up articles from their preferred clickbait websites and take it as gospel. I kind of accepted that I shouldn't associate with these people after I read Androphilia, which honestly was a great decision and I feel better.

There was a guy at our Synagogue who was so anti-rightwing that he wanted to bomb a speech that the local MP was making... It didn't make the news (the one advantage of everything being super left-wing here) but it was so scary ;~; The police got involved and everything. Guy turned out to have a few mental issues and needed to be on some pretty heavy meds. I haven't seen him for a few months
