but did anyone else really like the way their friends treated them after coming out? I instantly got showered in love and was treated much more like a girl. Before I avoided attention at all costs but now it feels kind of good...

They're your friends so of course they'll treat you like a girl if that is what you really want.
Having good friends like these is really helpful during transition so please be a good friend to them as well.

my friends hated me when i came out, they weren't good friends. They said 'oh so THATS you're such a bitch' it hurt so i cut them off

I had to come out a second time at work because promotion and a neighboring department didnt know.
No one cared, people are supportive but treat me the same regardless.
