This is like my worst nightmare and I often fear that it's the case but my family members (even my older brother who is usually very harsh and brutally honest) and boyfriend and friends often tell me I look beautiful and really not that manly compared to cis women and that I'm worried for nothing.
But then I hear stories about delusional people like OP's friend and it makes me hesitant to believe the people around me, so I'm never quite sure what to think.
I'd post a pic on 4chan but from what I've seen the people here tend to be equally delusional but in the opposite way, so there'd be no point and I'd risk outing myself if someone who knows me looks on 4chan.

If people who care about you are telling you that you look fine, you're probably fine. Does depend on your relationship though, I know my friends aren't shy to tell me when something's not working. If you're really not sure where you stand, you can either try asking people again and making it very clear you want honesty, or you can just think back for yourself as to whether they've ever lied to you before (whether it's about how good/feminine you look, or about other times they've had the opportunity to deliver criticism) and rationalise whether they're the sort of person to tell you the truth.

Honestly all of them are the type of person that almost always tells me their honest opinion, and I've asked them each like 5 or more times, making clear every time that I want their honest opinion and that they should feel free to criticize me.
