pleaseeeeee, my voice is the worst. I have a bad case of obvious trans voice. Is resonance really the key?
>>
>>8693456
Resonance, intonation, and pitch. One of them can not make up for the others, you need all of them.
Additionally, I've never heard a tranny that sounds good while talking in falsetto. You're supposed to stay below that, and make up for the androgynous pitch with proper technique like resonating in your throat/face instead of your chest, and also intonating your speech in a more feminine manner.

seems to me like you pass better when speaking in french
>>

Yeah that's the locality language thing, there are intonations in each language the signal male/female that are guard to pick up by foreigners
>>
>>8694168
French has a lot of sounds that resonate in the head so that makes sense, I guess?
>>
>>8692948
wtf
>>
>>8694067
Your intonation is good and you sound good. it sounds like you could improve by raising the pitch a bit higher, right now your pitch is at the deep end of female range which makes you sound older. try and raise your pitch to be around 200Hz average

You sound like a 12/13 year old boy trying to sound like a man.

>>8693617
A falsetto is not a female sounding voice- work on intonation and resonance, not simply pitch

>>8694151
sounds like an early MtF attempt at a female voice. So not really like a natural male voice. Your pitch rises too much, and your voice is strained

>>8694408
cis woman tier right there

>>8694454
A bit raspy, and it sounds strained. More muscle practice might help

reposting my navy seals copypasta from last thread since I didn't really get any replies
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0pL8klBIk2i
>>
>>8694180
Well I rarely feel much chest resonance at all even when using male voice, so I guess that could be it.

As far as my English voice goes, could I get any tips on what to work on?
>>
http://vocaroo.com/i/s06883yynGMh

Feel like I can't do much more atm other than wait for my vocal cords to strengthen further.
>>
>>8694163
oh, thank you very much (:
>>
>>8694552

Work on isolating the relevant muscle groups in your throat- your voice sounds very pinched and forced, which is generally a sign of using muscles that don't need to be used for voice control.

Vocal strength is good for keeping the voice going for a long duration, but control is what matters for getting to the good voice in the first place
>>
>>8694600

Here's a more relaxed example.
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0e0ylMDOqzW
>>
>>8694685

Definitely sounds more relaxed. It's fairly nasally though- but I'm not quite sure on how to fix that problem
>>
>>8694714
With nasal resonance, it's mostly compensation from what I've heard.
Can be pitch, but my pitch isn't very high to begin with. On a 1 min recording I'd average around 208 Hz
>>
>>8694504
>giving serious feedback to my awoo shitpost

>>8695413
Same with every other womens voice? Grow up and work on your voice! It takes a lot (and i mean A LOT) of work but it's literally the most important thing for passing. It's worth it

>>
>>8695423
>just work on it
As if I didn't try that already.
>>
>>8695504
Do it for four years. That's what I did and it worked.
I never seemed to make any progress but after 4 years I somehow magically ended up with a decent voice.
HRT might have something to do with it maybe? I'm not sure though. Maybe it was just my hard work.
>>
>>8695521
>>8695504
It's possible within a few weeks to months
>>
>>8695521
In that time I could just save for surgery
>>8695532
I tried voice training from Jan to April, got absolutely nowhere. I am consigned to girlmoding with this voice (been on hormones over a year already) until I have money for the surgery.
>inb4 it doesn't work
Hate on Faye's voice all you want, it does pass.
>>
>>8695571
who is faye? And congrats, at least you seem to have a somewhat passing voice if you want to go full-time with it. You can build up from there
>>
>>8695532
I think normally that would be the case but I had an extremely deep voice before I started training so I didn't have much to work with, so I had to perfect everything aside from the pitch (which took a lot of practice) to compensate for the androgynous pitch, as going into falsetto to achieve a higher pitch isn't an option since that just sounds bad.

>>8695521
Listen to this anon. It took me four years of practicing 30+ minutes a day (minimum) to get to this point. I mostly practiced by singing along in car rides, so it's not as hard as it sounds!

This is an older clip because I can't even sound like this if I try anymore. Shame cuz I used to love doing 'duets'
>>
>>8695582
>you seem to have a somewhat passing voice
What are you smoking? Did you listen to the right voice clyp?

Faye is a /mtfg/ trip who also found that voice training wasn't working for her so she just got the surgery because she's a millionaire. Rest of the general was salty that she could afford it and said it would fail, when she posted her post surgery voice they then switched to saying it sounded weird. It does but who cares it passes and she didn't have to bother with years of frustrating voice training.

I think you guys (kek) are in your own heads too much. You both sound completely fine to me. Just relax and take your time with your speaking. What you're looking for is a voice therapist, not a speech therapist, unless you have some speech disorder too you want addressed.

I am pretty stealth in my day to day life and I intern at a radio station while working part-time in women's retail. I think my voice is pretty good and have been using it for a number of years. Currently working on acquiring more female character voices because I used to do a lot of male ones but don't really anymore.

>>8699940
You've made some nice progress with your voice for seven months. I will guess that you've been pretty diligent with voice training. It sound smooth. Keep up the good work.

>>8698974
Your voice is really thin and too breathy. It has the right pitch range but it's a matter of giving your voice body. Speak loudly and practice reading a sentence or two in a single breath to build up strength.
>>
>>8700748
Holy shit. That was amazing. I'm actually overwhelmed at the difference. Your voice sounds amazing, and thanks for the comment on my voice. I've been working on it super duper hard these past seven months. I've always had an affinity for voices too so that helped.
