SRS is a like 12 hour extremely extensive operation, when you consider the cost (20-30 grand) and that fact that is the cost without insurance, since most insurance companies deny coverage of SRS (Atleast where Im from). The fact that the surgeon is willing to perform such an extensive operation for such a small amount is nothing short of charity.

An equivalent operation in the hospital could cost hundreds of thousands. No, they dont want our money. That 20 grand is probably the cheapest SRS surgeons can make it whilst still being able to afford a surgical team and equipment.
