Gay guy here.
Would it be transphobic to not date mtfs?
But be fine with dating ftms because they're guys?
>Would it be transphobic to not date mtfs?
No that's better than dating them actually.
>But be fine with dating ftms because they're guys?
That's also fine.

If you're actually open to dating FtMs, that's kinda cool. Most gay guy's aren't. But you aren't obligated to, or to be attracted to anyone. It's not "transphobic" to not be attracted to someone, anon.
I don't even know why you'd consider dating MtFs at all, since they're women.

It just means you're attracted to them as a person rather than to what's in their pants. I think MtFs would be happy to know gay guys wouldn't date them.

this thread is stupid

No, that's perfectly fine. If they identify as females then it's absolutely fine.
I'd say not dating a trans person because they're trans still wouldn't make you transphobic anyway, it's just a preference. You can not date someone for any reason you want, what gets you off is what gets you off.

Most trans girls wouldn't want to date a gay guy. Gay men are not attracted to women. Trans women want their partner to be attracted to them as women because that's what they are.
Seeing as how mtf are themselves as women than no. Over all it's a personal thing. Are you attracted to them or not.
Goodluck with FTM's Tho -- most seem to prefer Cis women.
It is never considered transphobic, homophobic, biphobic, or whatever phobic to choose not to date certain groups of people. You are entitled to your preferences.
