I had a partner once when I was 19...and then 20 years until I could be bothered to get another. Granted, it doesn't help I'm a vile, objectionable tranny on top of it all, but still.

Get your 'mones checked first, though. Low sex drive is also caused from that, and much more often (I think).

The problem with asexuality is the same problem with bisexuality - people do assume that that's what they are or are more comfortable with it for whatever reason.
I've heard experiences from people who ID'd as asexual because they were repressed gay/lesbian and I've also heard someone say they thought they were asexual... until they dated someone they were actually sexually attracted to.
It doesn't mean asexuality isn't real, but it's just more complicated than the other sexualities.

I mean I am capable of copulating with both sexes and have done so but I strongly prefer the same sex so I identify as gay. I'm sure (judging by gay4pay porn) straight people can often perform in gay sex but they don't enjoy it very much so they identify as straight. Everything else is repression, expressed.
