Trans people, for instance, are born men while mentally feeling like women, they usually end up taking hormones to make their body look more feminine.

He's right though. The military gives automatic 'fails' to those who are born with conditions they cannot control that would have a negative impacts on their ability to serve, such as being colour blind.

overall it seems pretty logical to not allow someone to transition while serving in the army...from first hand experience i can say hrt takes a huge huge toll on your mental state and emotions

why you'd let someone in the military during such a stressful and taxing time in their lives doesn't make sense to me
