I know when I was a kid I didn't want to transition because I was insecure and cared about what people thought about me. Now I realize I was stupid and will forever regret that choice I made.

Most aren't transtrenders but are actually aap in which case there's nothing you can do it may or may not escalate further as they age. Figure out if she reads/consumes homoerotic material like gay porn/fanfiction etc and if they want a penis for sex - stuff like that.

If it's a trend thing then they'll stop and move onto something else eventually so it doesn't matter. Biggest mistake a lot of people make is that all these people are doing it for attention.

not sure what cia means but most aap who transition do it for the aap/dysphoria, that comes with aap. Usually with both A*P the dysphoria gets worse with age, but it varies on an individual level too and the subtype, so not everyone transitions physically. 16 is early to come out for aap but I guess it's possible these days, I've seen some really young transistioners that fit AGP type description recently.

Anyway the complete lack of gender nonconformity is typical in A*P trans, some are mildly nonconforming as well, but some don't even meet that level.

I think you might have a different knowledge of A*P. All these people are just on the same spectrum really with different severity levels. (just realised you meant cis instead of cia lol,) there is no such thing as a 'cis aap' they're just lucky in having a mild form that doesn't require hormonal/surgical transition like the others but otherwise it's the same thing and one can move throughout life from non-physical dysphoric to physical dysphoric.

I think HSTS runs separately from A*P but recently I saw a family in the news with a child that transitioned mtf and then their mum did ftm not long after, and I saw before photos/video and he was really feminine... Seemed aap to me. So now I think maybe the trait runs in families regardless of sex, and it's just not noticed as often because aap is less common than agp, but I could be wrong.
