Most people who don't like the effects of transition are gonna notice it as soon as they start getting them, people might sometimes have a hard time knowing what they want but they usually know what they don't want when they get it

From what I've seen detransitioners who actually get SRS or live as trans for prolonged periods of time are usually either regular trans that just had bad luck with transition or had other mental issues that basically prevented them from living as their birth sex anyway

Clinics that deal with trans people generally say that the percentage who take HRT for a serious length and/or get some surgery and take legals steps and then back out are only about 1-2%.
