Reminder that statistics PROVE being AGP is JUST A FETISH for more than zero people.

ugh of course AGP correlates with desire to have those traits
doesnt mean its not a paraphilia

The survey was conducted on reddit by Survey Anon my little dimwit. On /r/samplesize, i.e. they didn't even ask an AGP community.
can someone please explain what any of this means?
>>8597897
That survey respondent explained in a comment that the reason he wouldn't find it appealing is because it would ruin his relationship, but that if he could start over from scratch he'd rather be female.
>>8602000
Also, I can't share exactly what he said, because he requested that his response was kept secret, but form his answer it's actually quite possible to argue that he is dysphoric (rather than a more standard "being female would be kinda cool").

In retrospect, saying that this disproves cases of "just a fetish" was misleading, because it suggests that it's not fundamentally sexual, even though it is IMO. (I wouldn't say it is just a fetish, though, because it's more like a sexual orientation.)

Yes, yes, don't rub it in. Your data shows how the sexual part and the genuine desire go together.

>"CIS AGP IS POSSIBLE GUYS"
lmao

Why would a non-random sample be better?
>>8610229
You want a sample representative of the actual population you're studying. If you want to prove that cis AGPs don't exist then it makes sense to survey populations where supposed cis AGPs are concentrated. You don't know what's the overlap between the self-identified cis AGP population and reddit's population.
>>8611263
A specific community is always going to be less representative than a general one like the whole site.
>>8612772
You don't know what's the overlap between reddit users and the population you want to research though. It could be extremely low. You just can't know how applicable your sample is.

How is that not true for literally every sample?
