Society either sexualises or ignores lesbians, while it either stereotypes or attacks gay men; I'd rather have people jack off to me than threaten to kill me or otherwise act confused when I'm not a flaming faggot.
Lesbians also find it easier to get into romantic relationships, while it's a needle in an orgasming haystack for gay men. It always seems possible to find a lesbian gf or fb, but being gay and wanting a monogamous relationship is considered laughable.

I think gay men have it harder when it comes to dealing with society and lesbians have it harder with relationships, think of the high level of domestic abuse between them.

but it's kinda relative to the situation

for example if I'm in a mainly straight woman environment and there's a gay dude, all those girls will usually love that gay dude and find me gross and sometimes drama happens where the lesbian gets move out because "hur she totally had a crush on me" shit.

But usually straight men kinda dominate any place. Like straight dudes just sorta get decision making rights for whatever reason. And hey most straight dudes think lesbians are hot or hey at least a butch dyke can help him remodel his front deck. But they think gay dudes are creepy/disgusting. So I'll get treated better. Because straight dudes think I'm cool enough and straight girls will usually just go along with whatever straights dudes want when around straight dudes. Plus it's mainly straight dudes making most policy in countries and surprise they only find gay dudes gross and just ignore or don't believe in lesbians existing.
