I mean, muslims are still infinitely worse, but it's kind of a bummer to see that the ones who treated me well as a kid were apparently just a small sect and the rest of them are actually pretty shitty.

Friendly reminder that religion can be psychologically- and spiritually-nurturing and bring meaning to your life. The only reason why religion, as it's practiced by most, is dysfunctional, vengeful, fearful, guilt-tripping crap is simply because most people are dysfunctional and everything they do or say reflects that.
