I'm getting FFS soon. At my work we get 10 days paid directly by the employer for a valid sick leave, after that you get on the disability insurance and get 80% of your salary. I know they don't accept cosmetic surgeries as medical leave, but considering dysphoria is shitty and FFS is almost always mandatory for anyone who starts HRT at 18+, I feel like this should be accepted. How can I prepare so that I don't get denied medical leave + disability insurance. I haven't talked to my boss, HR, union or insurance yet. I live in Canada BTW.

Why does "but I feel shitty" only apply to your cosmetic surgeries and not cis people's?

Cause FFS is actually covered by some insurance and is deemed medically necessary by WPATH?
plz halp
Talk to Hr, get your surgeon to provide a note explaining the necessity, raise a public stink if porky doesn't play nice

because even cis women aren't narcissistic enough to kill themselves over this
