That's not what being AGP is like for me. But maybe I'm a different kind of gynephilic trans. But basically, the fact that I'm attracted to women is just a thing that doesn't have much to do with being trans. Whereas the actual trans part, is more like anorexia or BDD. I think that people like the OP tend to idealize women and make them out to be perfect, but no matter what hand someone's dealt they're bound to feel insecure about something or have other problems. Everything about/around AGP is confusing to me. Some sites say it's a "discredited theory" about people who transition, other people say it's legitimate but just a fetish that's separate to transitioning, some people like OP say they both want to transition AND have that fetish, etc. Some people use it as an insult and other people don't. It's really confusing. Can someone point me to some resources or brief me on this? It stands for autogynephilia, right?

I think there are people with an AGP fetish, but AGP is used as a catchall for everyone who isn't a pure HSTS. People without a fetish are lumped into AGP just because they have to be force fit into one or the other.
