Well during these 2 years, how much out have you been though? Reading 4chan all day every day (or internet in general) gives you a really twisted view on the world.. not saying there isn't hate out there and there's places a lot worse than where I am, but how much hate have you experienced first hand, face to face? I personally feel a lot of that is internalized fear..

Sometimes I feel like this, especially because I don't surround myself in a liberal bubble online. But then I remember that in real life, people who get to know me are kinder about trans people thereafter. I have known Evangelical Christians who ultimately decided that trans people are not a big deal. They just have to know a regular person they like who is trans. I'm just a normal person who gets along with most others, and most people respond well to that.
