I am getting desperate for a boyfriend, right now I am thinking of okcupid and tinder, I really want to dive into this once my legal name change is complete in the next few months.

Any mtfs here willing to share their experience with dating sites?

I need advices. If I make an okcupid account should I put straight woman or straight trans woman? What difference would that make?

I plan on putting that bit of info on my profile in either case. How would you phrase that? I was thinking of making it casual and just saying "only message me if you're cool with that".

I am also interested in trannies who have used tinder and what they have to say about it. Apparently it at one time didn't allow trannies but now it does? Do you have to put yourself into a trans category or do they allow mtfs to say they're grills now?

If tinder put you into an mtf category you'd only be running across people specifically searching for that right? I wouldn't really mind a "chaser" or fetishist for a bf so long as he wasn't gross, had a nice personality and was interested in longterm relationships.
