I think it's cause when transwomen started becoming more common women's spaces were flooded with transwomen due to the higher ratio of men on the 4chan/the internet as a whole other than face book Tumblr install etc (meaning transwomen were more likely to be on the internet pre coming out)

While a lot of transwomen just wanted to blend in those with a lack of self awareness started
1) posting pics of their hon-selves
2) talking more and more about trans issues in these places

Reinforcing the idea in cisbians heads that all transbians are pretty much ugly men in dresses in both how they look and act and thus thinking it's better to fully exclude them

I can't blame them really.
