hey everyone, I am finally starting to make effort into trying to see if I'll be passable enough to start HRT or not and one big issue is that I have pretty bad 5 O clock shadow that I cannot seem to get off even right after I shave.
Anyways, im trying to decide what sort of hair removal I should get for getting rid of my facial hair so I dont have to worry about shaving or trying to cover up my shadow as well. What is everyones experience with electrolysis and laser hair removal?
Pic related, its me right after I shave
Don't come here to ask if you'll pass or not.
Even cis girls fail in /passgen/
If you start hrt it may lighten facial hair or make it grow slower, but won't eliminate it.
Laser is cheaper, less painful, but really works best on dark hairs.
Electrolysis is more expensive, more painful, but works on really all hair types.
You look like your hairs are darker so I'd say try laser first, then if that's not doing it go with electrolysis.

Chances are op will need both. Most people with brown hair have mixed colour beards.
You'll get rid of like 60-70% of hair with laser, then get the rest with electrolysis
A lot of places that do laser cannot properly do beards and they tend to regrow after a few years so it's sometimes cheaper and better to do it all as electrolysis
