Shower cap works unless you can tie it up etc, or just keep it out of the way.
Depending on how soon your hair gets greasy washing your hair between 1-2 times a week is the best, albeit now in the beginning you may get greasy hair faster (like a day), but unless you just live with that a few weeks and wash or more rarely that won't get better either.
